True North Tech Conference

Founded in 1977, McWood Studios is a design and fabrication shop located in a state-of-the-art facility in Toronto, Ontario. Our studio creates scenery and sets for Film, Television, and Theatre; booths and displays for tradeshows; and custom millwork for museum and art exhibits. We collaborate with designers and architects to deliver unique projects to clients across Canada and the U.S.

True North is a ground-breaking conference that brings together 2,000+ visionaries, leading influencers, innovators and policymakers for an honest and critical conversation about how we reaffirm tech as a force for good in the world.

The entrance was designed to look like an airplane hangar. A lighting truss was clad in flats and vinyl. We built the modular reception desks, illuminated step on the main stage,a rustic bar unit and aluminum walls. We worked with our suppliers on the signage, graphics and SEG light boxes.
